This is a redesigned of Area-51 line of notebook computers with several aggressive addition, such as a brilliant 17-inch, widescreen HD display. This notebook computer is designed for PC gamers, professionals and 3D or multi-media enthusiasts.
Area-51 m17x has been claimed as the fastest Alienware notebook ever. It has extreme specifications inside, such as an Intel ® Core ™ 2 Extreme processor (6MB Cache, 800MHz FSB), up to 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz, dual NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800M GTX GPUs graphics cards. It has up to two hard drives in RAID 0 plus 500GB Smart Bay drive for additional storage that gives the user a very large 1.5TB capacity.
The users can easily manage their Area-51 m17x through The Alienware Command Center control panel. This is home to exclusive programs such as AlienFusion power management system and the AlienFX(R) customizable lighting feature.
As suppletion, like m15x, m17x completed with a full size and full featured keyboard with separate numeric keypad plus AlienFX backlight.
