Blacky and Its Shorter Steps

First of all, let me introduce to you my ride : Blacky. Friends call it Blacky as it has black body (white, actually). It ‘drinks’ 4 litres (18.000 rupiahs) gasoline daily, and 1 litre 2T (about 18.000 rupiahs) oil weekly. Like a goat, Blacky will cry when you wash it dirty body. And like running in a circuit, it able to reach 140 km/h, and turn left/right 25 degrees slantwise of the road.
There are so many stories about me, family, friends, and Blacky. From city to city, island to island, province to province, I ride Blacky everywhere. Blacky runs fastly with long steps.
Until now, when government lifted up gasoline price and maybe almost unreachable.
Yeah, government formally announced gasoline price increases 33 percent from 4500 to 6000 rupiahs, effective since today.
And the new price effectively cuts off Blacky’s steps to a shorter step. What the hell!!! 6000 x 4 litres (daily) = 24.000 rupiahs daily is not almost unreachable for me. AAARRGHHH!!!
Government said, “we should increase the gasoline price because the global price of crude oil rised up, and reach 135$ a barrel. we must cut off subsidies for fuel, and change it to BLT”.
Hey, gov… when global price of crude oil rises high, you lift up the gasoline price. Why don’t you decrease the price when the price of crude oil going cheap?
Indonesia is one of the top crude oil exporter. And you know it. There are so many oil fields in Indonesia. But Indonesia is Asia’s top diesel and gasoline importer! How could it be?
Think again! BLT is not helpful for citizens. 100.000 rupiahs monthly is not enough to buy petroleum and gasoline. It is not enough!!! Every commodity price will rise high shortly. The price of vegetables, fishes, meat, rice, and maybe water, will be increased by the sellers. And BLT is not enough, my gov!!
Think again, please…
You think it or not, Blacky has a new shorter step anyway. And it is just a very-very small outcome. There will be a big effect nationally sooner.

maybe you might considering an idea to start using a 4 steps motorcycle..it save a bunch of gasoline..:) -
