This May Fantasy

Can’t wait to see 2 fantasy movies during the month of May, this year.

The first one, Iron Man; and the second one, Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian.

Iron Man (May 2, 2008)

Adapted from Marvel’s super hero Iron Man, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studio will bring this legendary hero into big screen on May 2, 2008. This fantasy movie is starred by Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark (Iron Man).

Story Outline : Tony Stark is a billionaire and genius inventor, who is kidnapped and forced to builds a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence he builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he face the nefarious plot with global implications, he uses the power of his iron suit to protect the world, against his enemy as Iron Man.

This movie is also stars Gwyneth Paltrow (Oscar Winner) as Virgina Potts and Terrence Howard (Oscar nominees) as Jim Rhodes, and directed by Jon Favreau.

I am not an Iron Man lover. I’m not a reader of the Iron Man comics. But I always interested in Super Hero movie, like Superman, Spiderman, and Bat Man. I don’t know why. Maybe because they are very cool (protecting the world with your power is always cool), or because the amazing CGI effect they are using in the movie. I don’t really know.

Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian (May 16, 2008)

Chronicles of Narnia, Price Caspian was the second book published of the seven books in the series of Chronicle of Narnia, written by C. S. Lewis. And the movie based on that book will be released this May, with the same title as the book title.

Story Outline : Pevensie sibling (Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy) pulled back into the land of Narnia, where a thousand years have passed since they left (the first movie : Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ; 2005). They are, for the second time enlisted to join the creatures of the land of Narnia and the Prince Caspian in a ‘project’ against an evil villain who prevents the rightful Prince from leading the land.

This movie stars Liam Neson as Aslan (only voices), Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, Anna Popplewell as Susan Pevensie, and William Moseley as Peter Pevensie.

I am one of thousands people who disappointed with the first movie. The Pevensies stars acted in a bad part. Maybe because they were child.

But I can’t wait to see this movie because the trailer is so great, with amazing Sound and Visual Effect. I think this movie has one of the best trailer this year.
