I Won It !!! “Untukmu Guruku” Blog Writing Competition

Greeting the Day of National Education (May 2, 2008), PT Telkom, leader of Information and Telecommunication Provider in Indonesia, successfully held a blog competition during April 2008, “Untukmu Guruku Blog Writing Competition“. There were about 500 registrants in 2 categories : Penggalang (Elementary School and Junior High School), and Penegak (Senior High School and University).
My post titled “Pak Bustan, Guru Ngaji Ribuan Anak” was only one of about 380 posts which grouped in Penegak category. My post told about Mr. Bustan, my teacher of Islamic Education during Elementary School in Balikpapan. The best teacher ever. (read my post completely).
In the announcement day, May 2 2008, PT Telkom announced that my post won the competition as it has the highest point : 437 points. So, after winning this competition i got a cup, a certificate, 4 million rupiahs, and 2 traveling package Makassar-Jakarta for me and 2 tickets for my teacher (Balikpapan-Jakarta). Great!
And, congratulation to my sister, Andy Hardiyanti Hastuti as she got #5 winner, with her post “Frau Wirda, Guru Segala Kesabaran“. I’m sorry for joining this competition. You will beat me, one day. Therefore I joined the competition.
